The Berhe Group provides residential therapeutic care for boys ages 6–17 and non-minor dependents ages 18–21. Our public website, however, is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.
In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete that information from our records. Any information related to the residents in our care programs is handled through separate, legally regulated processes subject to strict confidentiality obligations under California law and applicable federal regulations, and is not governed by this website privacy policy.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Payment information is processed exclusively through Stripe, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance.

6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Donation records may be retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with IRS recordkeeping requirements for 501(c)(3) organizations. Chat and contact inquiry records are retained only as long as needed to fulfill your request and are periodically deleted.
